Excessive wealth disparity can increase political
polarization and decrease social cohesion.
This impacts everyone.
1. Support Individual Autonomy
Our first goal is to defend individual freedom and liberty. Our work in both what we do and how we do it always respects personal autonomy.
2. Advocate for Systemic Solutions
Our second goal is to advocate for systemic solutions. This means addressing the root causes of problems, not just the symptoms.
3. Build International Solidarity
Our third goal is to encourage what we call Global Citizenship. Being a Global Citizen is mindset that is rooted in an awareness that we that we breathe the same air, we drink the same water, and we face the same problems.
It means that despite the overwhelming challenges, we need global solutions.
Our Four Step Process
Our Three Goals
1. Empower Organizers
We work with local Community Organizers to identify their community’s most pressing needs - and decide on something we can accomplish together.
2. Support Projects
We provide on-site support as requested by the Community Organizers. This can include fundraising, teaching & knowledge transfer, and logistical support.
We use the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a guide for all our projects.
3. Host Context Conversations
After each project we host a discussion in which we draw connections between the situation we are seeing on-site today with the broader history and socio-economic context.
4. Build Support Networks
Finally, we are assembling international volunteer support networks. Anyone, anywhere can participate. We will host a range of activities to help people make more friends across international boundaries. If you are interested, please visit the Volunteer page.
